信息技术英语

在新世纪中，信息技术已无疑成为了现代人谋生的一大技能。如今，我国的中、小学甚至也开设了信息技术课程，可见教育信息化思想已经渗透到了何等的地步。然而无法否认的是，由于引入了大量的外文信息资料，因此信息技术文献中往往含有大量的英语词汇，在一定程度上制约了信息技术的发展。为此，我们特组织了一批专家学者编写出这本《信息技术英语》，作为大专院校、高职高专专业英语课程的教材。本书旨在引导电子信息、通信、信号处理、计算机、信息管理以及信息系统等相关专业的本、专科生逾越信息技术学习道路上的语言障碍。本书亦可作为已从事或即将从事电子通信和信息类行业的有识之士的参考用书。

1．本书的主要特点

（1）知识介绍系统。根据信息技术的跨学科结构特点，系统地介绍了信息技术的基本理论与知识。

（2）结构编排独特。以章为单位确立学习目标。每单元都备有有趣的单词听力游戏题，以便学生在学习课文后，可以再进行举一反三的练习；同时提供了扩充知识的阅读材料，让游刃有余的学生接触更多的相关知识。

（3）图文声色并茂。网罗大量的精美图片，并配备由地道的外教录制的课文、单词和听力训练录音光盘（MP3格式）。

（4）信息材料新颖。所选素材具有很强的代表性、时代性、实用性、参考性。

（5）教学环境轻松。本书内容丰富多彩、深入浅出、易教易学，每个单元的结尾都配有令人轻松的“幽默人生”栏目，以达到寓教于乐的目的。

2．本书的主要内容

信息技术是一门利用计算机进行信息处理，利用现代电子通信技术进行信息采集、存储、加工、利用以及相关产品制造、技术开发、信息服务的新兴学科，主要包括传感技术、通信技术、计算机技术和缩微技术等。基于此，本书编写的内容如下：

◆ 第1章：主要介绍信息技术的概念及其发展历史。

◆ 第2章：主要介绍传感技术中的遥感等相关方面的知识。

◆ 第3章：主要介绍通信技术的基本概念以及数据通信、串口通信等相关知识。

◆ 第4章：主要介绍计算机技术的硬件、软件、数据库、网络、安全等基本知识。

◆ 第5章：主要介绍缩微技术中的数据压缩、数据获取、缩微成像等基本概念。

3．教学参考建议

本书由五大章节，20个单元构成。建议按每单元3课时计算，总课时可设置为60。按平均每周4课时计算，16周之内即可完成教学计划。为了方便教学，本书免费提供电子教案，因此建议尽可能利用多媒体教室进行教学。

本书由张海波主编，何谦卫、黄亦军、王心再任副主编，参编人员有张娅玲、张晓芬、冯巧丽、黄栋彤、冯晓菲、刘勇等。在编写过程中，本书得到了广东江门职业技术学院、广东海洋大学以及湖南涉外经济学院的支持，在此一并致谢。

由于信息技术英语是一门较陌生而深奥的课程，所以在编写过程中我们有时身陷困惑、饱尝艰辛，但我们并未因此而退缩。身为教育工作者，推广信息技术英语教学是我们义不容辞的责任。
